Ethel L Pritchard

Mrs. Ethel Fox Pritchard, 85, of Morganton, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday, June 29, 2011, while at Grace Heights, Morganton. Born May 11, 1926, in Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late James Henry Fox and Hannah Styles Fox. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pritchard was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack William Pritchard, a daughter, Vickie Johnson, three brothers and three sisters. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Morganton.

She is survived by three sons, Ronnie Pritchard & wife Margie, Keith Pritchard & wife Joni, and C.L. Pritchard & wife Evelyn, all of Morganton;

A daughter, Carolyn Denton, of Morganton;

Two brothers, J.C. Fox, of Lincolnton, NC and Eugene Fox, of Morganton;

A sister, Lillian Harris, of Morganton;

Seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Pritchard will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday, July 2, 2011, in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Morganton with the Reverend Ricky Watkins and Douglas St. John officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. View #2 Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kirksey Funeral home, 406 Lenoir Rd, Morganton, 28655, in Mrs. Pritchard’s memory..
