She was born July 31, 1909 in Burke County to the late Edgar and Alma Estelle Copeland Clontz.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Harmon Clontz and Charles Edgar Clontz; and her sisters Vera Bowman, Dora Mauldin, and Minnie Branch.
She is survived by her brother Calvin Clontz of Morganton; a sister Pauline Huddleson of Mount Home, AK; and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 1:00PM at Burke Memorial Park with Reverend David Orders officiating.
