She was born on October 19, 1921 to the late Clyde Ledford and the late Nettie Burleson in Mitchell County, North Carolina.
Georgia enjoyed gardening and quilting.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Nat Jones, daughter Sylvia Patton, and son Olin Jones.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jo Ann Miller and Rosalie Davis and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
