He was born on March 7, 1945 to the late Garfield Stevens and Linda Golden
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Ted Stevens
Those left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Debra Robillard (husband, Matthew Robillard); and his son, Gerald Stevens Jr. (wife, Nikki Stevens); his granddaughters, Jordan Stevens, Madison Robillard and Trinity Robillard.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Morganton. A Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Morganton, North Carolina.
