Mr. Gregory Alan Moody, 49, of Connelly Springs, passed away, Thursday, December 26, 2013 while at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. Born August 25, 1964, in Haywood County, he was a son of Raymond Moody and Rosa Gibson Moody, both of Connelly Springs. Mr. Moody was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Moody and a nephew, Kevin Brent Moody.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Moody also leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Kimberly McCormick Moody, of the home;
Two sons, Alan Raymond Moody, of the home and William Eugene Icard, of Drexel;
A daughter, Pricilla Dawn Moody, of Connelly Springs;
A brother, Eric Moody, of Taylorsville;
A grandson, Reilly Dean Regan and a host of other loved ones and friends will cherish his memory.
Funeral Services for Mr. Moody will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, December 30, 2013 in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Morganton. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Valdese. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at Kirksey Funeral Home.
