Hazel F Dula

Mrs. Hazel Franklin Dula, 78, of Morganton, passed away, Monday, February 7, 2011, while at the Magnolia Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Morganton. Born October 17, 1932, in Burke County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Franklin and Minnie Byrd Franklin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dula was also preceded in death by her husband, James A. Dula, a brother, Paul “Cotton” Franklin and a sister, Ruth Singleton.

Mrs. Dula is survived by two sons, Thomas A. Dula & wife, Leslie of Morganton and Timothy B. Dula & wife, Angel of Rutherfordton;

A daughter, Linda Blankenship, of Morganton;

Also surviving are eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Burke Memorial Park with the Reverend Rick Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, February 11, 2011, at the home of Linda Blankenship, 2343 Byrd Rd, Morganton, NC 28655.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the “Clothing Bank Fund” at Magnolia Lane Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 107 Magnolia Dr, Morganton, NC 28655.
