She was born on April 30th, 1948 to the late, Jay Rockford Green and Veora Virginia Marley.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Stansberry; and her two brothers, Ernest Green and Archie Green.
She enjoyed her Lord and savior Jesus Christ, Pastoring alongside her husband for 50+ years. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed 60 years of marriage to a loving husband Kenneth Milam.
Those left to cherish her family is her husband, Kenneth Milam, Her children Tamella White, Brian Milam (Wife, Kim), Mary Beth Pierce (Husband, Edward). Her grandchildren, Kristi Long, Lauren Biddix (Husband, Dustin) Autumn Lowdermilk (Husband, Jordan) Brandon Milam, Alexis Bao (Husband, Jose) Payton Milam, Jordan White, Greyson Pierce, Kaitlyn Pierce, and her great grandchildren Isaac Hollifield, Haley Danielle, Truett Lowdermilk, Isabella Bao. Her Siblings, Travis Marley (Wife, Christine) Jean Pluer (Husband, Hans) Matt Green (Wife, Laura) and a loving extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Kirksey Funeral Home in Morganton, with Rev. Dr. Van Bloss officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Conley Road Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Morganton.
