He is preceded in death by his mother, Mable Fleming Caldwell; three brothers, Linnie Caldwell of Cincinnati OH, William Caldwell, and Ralph Caldwell of Morganton NC; and a sister, Louise Caldwell of Morganton NC.
Those left to cherish his memory is his two sisters, Georgia Sanders of Cincinnati OH, and Laura Peterson of Morganton NC; brother, Waymon Caldwell of Morganton NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.
John retired from Broyhill Furniture in Lenoir, NC. John also attended Job Corp in Kentucky in his younger years where he received a certificate in construction.
