She was born on January 27, 1933 to the late William Pendley and Senia Carpenter Pendley in Mitchell County, North Carolina.
Joyce enjoyed dancing, singing, and playing the piano.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her three husbands, Everette Wilson, John Comer, and Jack Burnette.
The family will receive friends at Kirksey Funeral Home in Morganton, NC on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm. A private interment will be held at a later time.
