Kenneth Tim Gurley

Born to his late parents, Jerome Jason Gurley and Lorraine Yount Gurley; he was the sixth of seven children. His life was full of family; from siblings to cousins. Because of the bond he shared with his siblings as an adult he was close to his nieces and nephews.

When he met Della Elaine Mooneyham, he met the love of his life. He married her, but with her came Carla. She made him not only the kids best uncle, but her daddy, a role he cherished. Even when his marriage ended, he remained "daddy", and eventually "pawpaw". He and Elaine stayed best friends and were the love of each other's lives, even after Elaine passed.

Tim was an excellent mechanic. He could fix anything from a vehicle to a kerosene heater! He was a fantastic guitar player. He was always picking the guitar strings and singing too, as he was able. Tim had one best friend who was loyal no matter what. Her name is Layla, his four-legged "child". He spoiled her rotten, and in return she loved him unconditionally.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his forever love, Elaine Mooneyham; baby sister, Nellie Harwood; his two older brothers, Ted Gurley and Jim Gurley; and a half-brother, David Gurley; his nephews, Teddy Wayne Gurley, and Gregory Harwood; along with his great nephew, Elijah Morris.

He is survived by his daughter, Carla; stepdaughters, Charlie Piercy and Beverley Piercy; granddaughters, Theresa Bryant and Alexis Rose, Athena and Ella Harlow; step granddaughter, Raelynn Piercy; great grandsons, Nolan Arrowwood and Aiden Barner; step grandson, Charles Beheler.

In addition, he also leaves behind three sisters, Victoria Stevens, Patsy Gurley, and Dianne Seawell; three nieces, Sheila Coffey, Lynn Marie Seawell, and Tammy Harwood; two nephews, Mark Gurley and Jeff Harwood; along with several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Tim Gurley, a man larger than life, will forever be honored and remembered as one who loved fiercely and completely.
