Nina was born January 12, 1950 in Catawba County to the late John W. and Hazel Houston Huffman. She was employed in the hosiery industry.
In addition to her parents , Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jerry Smith; Brothers Kenneth and Irvin Huffman and Sisters Mildred Icard and Mary Lou Bower.
She is survived by one son, Todd Smith, a granddaughter Danielle Smith, her sisters Margaret Huffman and Sadie Huffman Lail Bilvens (Husband: Steve); her brothers Clarence Huffman (Wife; Claudette), Wesley Huffman, Macon Huffman (Wife; Jan) and Earl Huffman. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
