"Lunch at Nan's, Sunday grace. Everyone knew Nan's kitchen was the place.
Her garden grew wild at the sound of her name, flowers and veggies she'd be the one to tame. Animals followed, loyal and true, they somehow knew like animals do. They came to her, lost or alone, she would give them love and a safe, warm home.
A yard sale hunter, sharp and keen, the undisputed bargain queen. Collector of dishware houses, and snails. And full of the best family tales. They say the hills are alive with the sound of music. Our hearts will always be alive with the sound of your songs.
Dolls lined shelves in rows just so, keeping her secrets, watching her go.
She loved the beach, the wind, the sand, salt in her hair, joy close at hand. Through it all, steady, kind, and true, Nan had your back in all you'd do."
