He will be remembered as a hardworking, creative, and loving man who lived life with purpose and passion.
Roger was a man with an adventurous spirit. Whether he was farming, exploring a new hobby, or diving into a project he’d never tried before, he approached life with curiosity, energy, and determination. He appreciated the historical practices and traditions passed down from his father and grandfather and took pride in carrying those values forward. His creativity, willingness to try anything, and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Roger is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Judy Sigmon, who remained by his side through every chapter of life. He is also survived by his mother, Ruby Sue Sigmon; his brother, Daryl Sigmon; and his sister, Phyllis Sigmon, who was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger Bailey. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Roger deeply cherished his godchildren. He is survived by his goddaughter, Amber Lackey, and her husband, Clint Lackey, along with their children, his “grandkids,” Leah and Colby Lackey. He is also survived by his godson, Dustin Bingham, and his wife, Kayla Bingham.
Roger lived fully, loved deeply, and will be missed more than words can express. His memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
