Sarah Elaine Buchanan

She was born on February 15, 1964 to her father, Leon Lane and late mother, Jean Phyllis Lane in Caldwell County, North Carolina.

Sarah was a member of Burkemont Baptist Church in Morganton, NC. Her favorite things to do were baking homegoods and spending time with family. She worked at Leviton for over thirty years as a machine operator.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Michelle Buchanan.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of thirty-two years, Robert R Buchanan; son, Robert A Buchanan (wife, Chrissy); daughter, Patricia Haney (husband, Adam); brothers, Allen Bell and Terry Bell; sister, Sheila Bell; grandchildren, Rhiley Buchanan, Rachel Buchanan, Ava Buchanan, and Raylon Haney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thank you Carolina Caring Hospice of Newton and her nurses, Samantha "Sammy" Shepherd and Rutha Bell.
