Toua Hang

Toua (Tony) Hang, a devoted husband, loving father of three, and a man deeply cherished by many passed away on October 18th, 2026 at the age of 49, following a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer.

Though his time with us was cut short, Tony lived a deeply meaningful life defined by boundless love, tireless hard work and unwavering devotion to his family. Tony’s greatest joy and pride was his family. As a devoted husband to his wife, Sia, for 26 years, he built a life rooted in partnership, laughter, and unconditional love.

As a father to his three children-Isaac, Jacob and Jeannie-he was the constant anchor, protector, and guide. He poured his heart into raising them, teaching them the value of integrity, kindness and perseverance. Though he was taken far too soon, the lessons he taught, the memories they shared, and his profound love will live on in their hearts forever.

Tony touched countless lives with his warmth, generosity and genuine spirit, whether he was playing volleyball or just spending time with families and friends, he brought light to those around him. He was truly loved by many and the void he leaves behind is immeasurable.

Survived by his wife, Sia Xiong Hang; his children, Isaac, Jacob and Jeannie; his father, Xa Hang; his brothers, Neng Hang, Shon Hang, Doua Hang, Chai Hang; and his sister, Xia Hang; and thirty-two nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kazoua, aunt Chue, sister Kou and brother Toua.

A Religious Ceremony will be held at Kirksey Funeral Home in Morganton, North Carolina, on November 1, 2026, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Interment will take place at Burke Memorial Park in Morganton, North Carolina, on November 1, 2026, at 3:30 pm.
