Ursula Lou Nancy (Farris) McDaniels, age 68, of Morganton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 18, 2023. Ursula was born the daughter of the late Wilburn and Grace Farris on March 6, 1955 in Burke County, NC.
Along with her parents, Ursula was preceded in death by her husband, David McDaniels; a son, Shannon McDaniels; a brother, JC Farris, two sisters, Janie Watson and Jewel Self: and a nephew, Michael Farris.
Those left behind to cherish Ursula's memory include three brothers, David and his wife Teresa, Pete and his wife Hilda and Jerry and his wife Jackie Farris, all of Morganton. She is also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Mountain View #2 Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor LR Combs, Jr. officiating. Ursula will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
