Ada Belle Rhea, age 81, of Bean Station, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2020. She was a member of Adriel Missionary Baptist Church and a beloved librarian at Bean Station Library for many years. Preceding her in death was her husband, Norman Rhea; parents, Landon and Jewel Barnard; brothers, Fay Barnard and Alfred Dean Barnard; and sister, Brenda Drinnon.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharlene (Tom) Trent; son, Mike (Judy) Rhea; grandchildren, Adam Dean Rhea, Stacie (Luke) Davy, Brad Jones; great-grandchild, Deven Jones; sister, Carolyn Walker; special friends, Jimmy and Rebecca Smith; and several nieces, nephews and loved ones.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 11 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. The Chapel will be open for viewing at Noon. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev Dale Harris officiating. Family and friends will meet at Adriel Cemetery on Saturday, December 12 at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Adriel Missionary Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Rhea.
