1943 - 2025
Albert passed away on Veterans Day, November 11, 2025. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas and raised in Meridian, Mississippi.
He was an Army Veteran serving from 1966 until 1969 in Turkey and Germany. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. A lifetime member of the New Egypt Elks #2457 and Morristown Elks #1667. The Cushman Motor Scooter Club of America, the Southeastern Cushman Club #NJ-001 and the Vintage Motor Bike Club. He also belonged to the Sons of Confederate Veterans #1638 and the Vietnam Veterans of America. Along with the Hamblen County Car Club.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents: Olus and Naomi Combs; grandparents: Oliver and Mabel Combs and a niece and nephew: Cyndi and Vincent Cline.
He is survived by his wife, Chantal Combs; children: Albert R. Combs, Jr and his wife, Kathy; Nancy Gillet and her son, Chase Mayhem; Philip R. Combs and his wife, Kelly, and their children: Cole R. Combs, Sarah M. Combs and Madelyn Combs. And his sister: Alice Cline.
The family will have a memorial service along with a Military service at All Saints Episcopal at the end of March 2026.
