Alfred Wayne Palmer, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edna Palmer. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna J. Palmer; children, Rodney (Rhonda) Palmer, Carla (David) Dollar; 8 grandchildren; sister, LaNelle Landrum; and several nieces. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, TN. Rev Danny Georges and Rev Tim Thompson will lead the services. The family extends a special thank you to the staff and nurses at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital Green Tower ICU. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
