Alice Faye Lawson

.ALICE FAYE LAWSON, age 70 of Whitesburg went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a member of Lee Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, H. B. Lawson; children, Bobby Brooks and wife Jane of Bean Station, Gloria Cambel of Talbott, Hobert Lawson and wife Mary of Colorado Springs, CO and Mack Lawson of Whitesburg; sisters, Gaynelle Porpilla of Hendersonville, TN and Ann Miniat of Dandridge, TN; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Williard Wilder and the Rev. Gary Biggs officiating. Interment will follow in Bent Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Franklin Barnette officiating. Pallbearers will be: Greg Carroll, Mikey Lawson, Haskel Gladson, Frankie Lawson, Jeff Lawson and Brian Lawson. Music will be provided by The Lee Valley Quartet. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Bonnie Vick, Dr. Ernesto Mejia and the nursing staff at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System for their love and support in our time of need.
