

ANNA LYNN McCRAVY HAUN, age 85 of Bulls Gap, passed away on Sunday morning, July 1, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bulls Gap, graduated from Whitesburg High School, attended Tennessee Wesleyan College, worked in the shoe department at Parks Belk, was a farmer and a housewife. She loved to be outdoors and working in the garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Walter Steel and Martha Grace McCravy, brother; William (Bill) Edward McCravy and sister; Martha Kathryn Thompson who passed away on December 31, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 63 years; Jacob Lewis (J.L.) Haun, son; Jake Edward Haun and wife Cindy Lou, daughters; Jenny Lynn Haun and Sheila Kathryn Fobber and husband Tex, grandchildren; Holly Williams, Heath (April) Haun, Hayden (Susan) Haun, Virgina LeAnn Myers, James Lucas Myers, Melissa Kay Myers and Cody Allen Fobber. She also has seven (7) great grandchildren, neices and nephews; Alice (Glen) Brooks, Donna Baker, Craig (Blanche) Haun, Shari (Ralph) Winburn and Sandy (Larry) Lakins and several great-great nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law; Dallas Thompson, Fred (Dolores) Haun and Jarrell (Bland) Haun. Special friends and neighbors; Ruby Rose Tieke, Melba Knight, Fred and Phyllis Terry, special Caregiver and friend; Irene Lawson and a host of other special friends, neighbors and church members to numerous to mention.Pallbearers will be Cody Fobber, Lucas Myers, Heath Haun, Hayden Haun, Tex Fobber and Glen Brooks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dallas Thompson, Fred Terry, Ed Knight, John Peeler, Bill Justis, Bob Gaut and Jack Gaut Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bulls Gap Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Hughes and the Rev. Richard Long officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in Tieke Cemetery in Bulls Gap for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
