In loving memory of Annie Anita Roy, age 91, formerly of Greeneville, passed away in Bay St Louis, MS on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Born in Auburn, ME, on February 20, 1929, she was married to Roland A. Roy for 58 years before his passing on May 4, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland A. Roy; son, Thomas J. Roy; sons-in-law, James Hurley and Thomas Yungen; parents, Philias and Marie Ann (Daniels) Jacques; granddaughter, Leanna Knowles; grandsons, Michael and Timothy Hanson; brother, Philippe R. Jacques; and half-sister, Stella Guimond. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Virgil) Nance of TN, Brenda (Terry) Snyder of IL, Mary (Jay) Yowell of MS, Stella Hurley of TN, Claudette Yungen of TN; daughter-in-law, Trina Roy of TN; aunt, Florence Daniels of ME; brother, Rev Roland D. (Anne) Jacques of ME; sister-in-law, Marie Anne Jacques of ME; goddaughters, Danielle Montes (granddaughter) of TN and Cindy Roy (niece) of IL; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Paul Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Roland A. Roy, Thomas J. “Budd” Roy II, Ron Hendricks, great-grandsons, Dyer and Derek Hendricks, and great-great-grandson, RJ Ferguson. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home, Morristown, TN
