Anthony G. Farmer, age 49, of Bean Station, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 due to an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Farmer; and brother, Larry Farmer. Survivors include his mother, Betty Farmer of Bean Station; son, Mark Farmer; daughter, Tara Bain; and one grandchild, Austin Tucker Bain, all of Mooresburg; brothers, Elbert (Susan) Farmer of Knoxville and David Terry (Jane) Farmer of Racine WI; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. Dean Buell will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession to Dalton Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be Rick Diamond, Jimmy Joardan, Rusty Brunson, Mike Coffey, Homer Long, and Lenny Roach. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
