Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Solomon. Before moving to Tennessee, she and James lived in Amherstdale, WV. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Edith Clay and one sister, Faye Clay of Cleveland, OH.
She is survived by one step-daughter, Susan (Rex) Thompson of Pataskala, OH. and one granddaughter, Monica (Tim) Pribe and 3 great-grandsons, Jacob, Daniel and Levi Pribe of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Jackie (Trudy) Clay of Roanoke, VA and Jimmy (Mischa) Clay of Bean Station, TN, as well as four sisters, Aretta (Jack) Morgan of Bean Station, TN., Brenda (Ricky) Price of Sod, WV, Sue (Frank) Moss of Chicago, IL and Sherry Fogell of Morristown, TN.
Also surviving Arlene is her very special companion and caregiver, Norman Bowlin, as well as Trevena Duncan, Megan Bullington and Patsy Hoard. Special thanks and gratitude for the loving care and help of her sister-in-law, Mischa Clay.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 6p.m.-8p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 8 p.m. with Rex Thompson, Pastor officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
