Betty Breeding

Betty Chapman Breeding of Whitesburg, TN passed away June 26, 2025, at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her husband John Hall Breeding, Daughter and Son-in-law Donna and Bill Lamb, Mother and Father Mr. & Mrs. R.V. (Bill) Chapman, Sister and Brother-in-law Bessie and Clyde McFarland.

She is survived by one Daughter, Carrie McMahan of Whitesburg, TN. Grandchildren Michele Cook of Whitesburg, TN; John (Brandi) Lamb of Denver, NC; Tara Lamb Parker of Morristown, TN; Adam Lamb of Colorado Springs, CO. Great Grandchildren Katelyn Cook; Irelyn Lamb, Barrett Lamb, Teagan Lamb; Amelia Parker; Alona Parker; JD Hooker. She has outlived a host of family and friends.

She was saved at an early age at Shady Grove Baptist Church. She loved to cross stitch, garden, read, and do puzzles. She preferred to be outside working in the yard or in the woods because of her love of nature.

The family would like to thank the staff at Caris for the care shown to Granny, especially Ashlyn, Ally, Charity, Taylor, Jamie & Shay as well as At Home Primary Care NP Elizabeth Crockett. Special thanks to Brittany Seals of Caris for your dedication and the love shown to Granny over the last few years.

The receiving of friends will be on July 2, 2025, at Stubblefield Funeral Home from 12-2 pm. Graveside Service will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
