Billy Joe Adams, age 81, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his residence. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, Bud and Eula Adams; brother, Donald Adams; and granddaughter, Aubrey Estelle Adams.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Saundra Adams; sons, Michael Wayne, Joey Adams, Lance (Lindsey) Adams; sisters, Barbra Bishop, Rosie Bales; brother, Dale Adams; grandchildren, Silas Adams, Sydney Adams, Hannah Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Ross Woody and Rev. Kenny Boling. Family and friends will meet in Bethel Church Cemetery on Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service.
