BOBBY R. BOYD, SR, age 42 of Knoxville formerly of Grainger County, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2011 Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Doc and Irene Mallicoat and mother-in-law; Margaret Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Kim Boyd, daughters; Brittany Coffman and Alexus Boyd, son; Bobby Ray Boyd, jr, grandchildren; Makella Coffman, Jayla and Braylan Ray, mother; Juanita (Jerry) Mullins, sister; Judy Lynn, father-in-law; Harland (Lisa) Johnson, special sister-in-law; Holly Davis, special brother-in-law; Daniel Johnson, special friends; Jerry Trent and Ronnie Jones, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Family and friends will meet on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 10:50 a.m. in Bean Station Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside with the Rev. David Prior officiating.
