Brenda J. Hawkins

Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Among her many interests and hobbies, she enjoyed camping, gardening and quilting, with her greatest joy being caring for those around her.

She was preceded in death by her children: Sonya and James Morrow; her stepson: James Michael "Mike" Hawkins; parents: James and Pauline Williams; and her sister: Wilma Williams.

She leaves her behind to cherish her memory, her husband, James R. Hawkins; son: Paul Morrow; stepson: Robert Hawkins; stepdaughter: Betty Hawkins; siblings: Faye Miller, Buddy Williams, Jane Lee, David Williams, Terry Williams and Perry Williams; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stubblefield Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ronald Bunch officiating. Graveside and interment services will immediately follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff of Greeneville Community Hospital and Ballad Hospice Care for the compassionate care, kindness and comfort they provided.
