Carl Nease Mantooth, age 84, of Morristown, went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, March 2, 2017. He was a well-known auto body man in Morristown. Carl also played the guitar and sang with his longtime band, The Country Sessions. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Carl Mantooth; parents, Leonard and Gussie Mantooth; brother, Jack Mantooth; and daughter-in-law, Susan Mantooth. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Dianna Mantooth; children, Teresa (Tom) Hulet, Pam (Hugh) Hill, Mike Mantooth, Tanya Mantooth, Stacy (Blake) Wilder, and Sheena (fiancé, Brandon Russell) Mantooth; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family requests your presence at the celebration of Carl’s life. They will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens Chapel Mausoleum on Monday at 12:45 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. entombment service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Morristown ALPS Center.
