Carroll “Lynn” Cox, age 62 of Knoxville, entered his heavenly home at his home on August 2, 2017. He was a member of Tekoa Baptist Church and an Army Veteran. Preceding him in death is his father; Llewellnn Herber Cox.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mitzi Cox, son; Shane (Jackie) Cox of Knoxville, mother; Mildred Cox of Morristown, brother; Terry Cox of Morristown, sister; Karen (David) Hansen of Warsaw, Indiana, 5 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends at U.T. Medical Center where he worked for many years.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12th, 2017 at Tekoa Baptist Church in Knoxville with a memorial service to follow with Rev. Bill Dean officiating.
