Cathylene Jane Bible

Cathylene Jane Shepherd Bible passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 90. She was a member of Bulls Gap Baptist Church in Bulls Gap, Tennessee. Cathylene was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Calvin Shepherd, Sr. and Hesba Fay McCollough Shepherd; her brother, Walter Calvin Shepherd, Jr. "Buddy"; her son, James Douglas Bible; and her great-granddaughter, Ava Grace McCollough Ruck. Cathylene is survived by her daughter, Susan Bible Carr; and her son, Walter Bible. Additional survivors include her seven grandchildren: Elizabeth Bible Klick, Stephanie Bible, Kris Bible, Dryse Bible, Lindsey Carr-Ruck, Logan Carr, and Caitlyn Bible Grizzle. Moreover, Cathylene is survived by nine great-grandchildren: Avery Klick, Noel Klick, Jack Collier, Sam Faircloth, Nora Bible, William Dryse Bible, Jr., Rex Bible, Jaxson Carr, and Shelby Carr. Cathylene will be laid to rest in the Shepherd Cemetery in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, with a private family graveside service officiated by Rev. Richard Long. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bulls Gap Baptist Church or any of the local animal shelters.
