

CHARLES CLIFFORD HINKLE (CLIFF), age 87 of Life Care Nursing Home, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 4, 2016. He was a member of Morristown Baptist Tabernacle. Cliff was retired from the US Postal Rural Letter Carrier Service and served as President of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees in 1997. He volunteered with his wife, Ellen at Heritage Nursing Home for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen of 65 years; sister, Linda Smith and brother Junior Hinkle both of Greeneville, TN.
Survivors include his children, Jan (Raymon) McCrocklin of Dandridge, Pam Simpkins of Nashville, Joy Harris of Morristown and Mike Hinkle of Jefferson City; sister, Cathy Riddle of Greeneville, TN, grandchildren, Christy Noe of Nashville, Carrie (Bill) Collins of Clover, SC, Russ (Bianca) McCrocklin of Clover, SC, Tara (Greg) Dillehay of Hendersonville, TN, Olivia Harris of Morristown; step-grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Harville of Nashville, TN, great-grandchildren, Trenton Harris, Caleb Collins, Madeline McCrocklin, Ben and Sadie Shockley, and Hudson Dillehay.
The family will gather at Stubblefield Funeral Home on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 1:30 pm with funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm with Mr. C.M. Cobble, brother-in-law, officiating. Interment will follow in Noe’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Morristown Baptist Tabernacle or to Lakeway Christian School.
