Charles Edward Welch

Charles Edward Welch, age 83, of Mooresburg, TN went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 12, 2025. He was born on Dec. 25, 1941 and was indeed a gift from God to all who knew and loved him.

He was a devoted husband to his wife of 56 years, Loretta Beulah Welch.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Herbert and Ora Welch.

Charles is survived by his wife, Loretta; sister: Thelma Jean McGinnis; sisters-in-law: Edna (Arlie) Wear, Sharon (Boyd) Myers and Debbie (David) Baird and brother-n-law: Donald "Wolfe" (Myrna) Wolfe. Nieces: Christy Waller, Jane Young, sue Young, Debbie McGinnis, Gail Nicely, Linda Johnson, Sandy Wear, April Ellis and Jessica Worthington and nephews: Adam Myers, Phillip Wolfe and Noah Waller.

Charles was a faithful and beloved member of James Chapel Church where he was song leader and Sunday School Superintendent for many years. He leaves a void in the Church and in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Dallas Harrell and Rev. Phil Seaton officiating. Graveside services will be in Hamblen Memory Gardens, Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
