Cheryl Tippins

Cheryl Elizabeth Tippins, 69, of Mohawk, TN, passed away at home on July 24, 2025. A devoted member of Mount Hope Church, she deeply cherished her grandchildren and actively supported her children's school and sports activities in earlier years. Remembered as lively and spontaneous, Cheryl left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She would dream big. She is reunited with loved ones who passed before her.

Psalm 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

John 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

Cheryl is survived by her faithful and devoted husband of over 51 years, Doug E. Tippins; her children, Amy (Del) Baker and Kevin (Kristy) Tippins; grandchildren, Andrew Baker, Fallyn Baker, Archer Tippins and Durham Tippins; and her sister, Carol (James) Black; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rose Marie and Matt L. Smith and infant sister, Cindy Anne.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, TN. Receiving of friends will take place from 5-7 PM with services to immediately follow. The services will be officiated by Reverend David Gibbs. The pallbearers are: Kevin Tippins, Archer Tippins, Durham Tippins, Andrew Baker, Del Baker, Allen Lamb, and Isaiah Lamb.
