Christopher Allen Burchell

CHRISTOPHER ALLEN BURCHELL, age 42 of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. He was saved when he was 13 years old at Morrisetts Chapel Baptist Church. He loved playing golf and Duke basketball. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Della Burchell and Thomas Lindsey; uncle, Mike Lindsey and aunt, Joyce Seals. He is survived by his son, Cole Burchell of Mooresburg; wife, Krystal Burchell of the home; parents, Johnny and Edna Burchell of Mooresburg; sister, Stacey Jones and husband Dave of Church Hill; grandmother, Birdie Lindsey of Whitesburg; nieces, Jessica Depew and husband Bryden of Church Hill and Sara Jones of Johnson City; father and mother-in-law, Joby Buckingham and Debbie Tate of Morristown; brother-in-law, Jason Buckingham of Morristown; uncle , Greg Lindsey of Greeneville and his dogs, Rufus, Lilly and many family and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 19 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Coffey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:00 p.m. at Stubblefield Funeral Home to go in procession to Courtney Cemetery in St. Clair for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
