Clarence “Hoss” Hopson, age 85, of Morristown, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Life Care Center. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Flora Hopson; brother, Curtis, George, Verlan, Jess, Dewey, and Lee Hopson; and sister, Naomi Hopson. Survivors include his sisters, Ethel Harvey and Imogene Rapp; sister-in-law, Nancy Hopson; nieces, Peggy, Genia, Pat, Darlene, Carolyn, and Angela; nephews, Dewey Jr. and Mike; and special friend, Patsy Long. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Hal Crockett and Rev. Charles Wolfenbarger officiating. Family and friends will meet in Bethesda Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening prior to the services. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff of Life Care Center.
