Daniel Ray Gregg, age 37, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at his home. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny R. Gregg; sister, Deanna Diane Gregg; grandparents, Claude and Sara Gregg, Clyde and Mary Farmer, Charles and Patsy Shelton, Rufus O. and Ruth Sartain; and foster grandmother, Johnny Mae Cook. Survivors include his parents, Debra and Rufus Sartain; step-mother, Delane Gregg; brothers, Christopher Gregg, Billy Joe Gregg; foster grandparents, Bill and Marjorie Allsup; aunts and uncles, Thomas and Barbara Bishop, Johnny and Kathy Thompson, Raymond and Judy Galyon; and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. David Jones, Rev. Mike Jones, and Rev. Dennis Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6 – 9:00 p.m. Donations can be made in Daniel’s memory to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2755 Buffalo Trail, Morristown, TN 37814.
