Donna Rose Scarce, age 40, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 7, 2013. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and worked at Douglas-Cherokee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Ray Scarce. She is survived by her children, Elijah and Samantha Rae Scarce; parents, Pete and Sandra Hayes; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marshall and Shirley Scarce; grandmother, Laura Stubblefield; sisters, Marian Brogan and Cynthia Moyers; brothers, Michael (Amanda) Hayes and Petey (Shannon) Hayes; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Friday, September 13th at 2 p.m. Rev. Randy Winston and Rev. Scott Helton will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home.
