She was a lifelong member of Power House Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and participated in as many activities as she could. She was a retiree of Berkline with 40 plus years of service.
Preceding her in death are her parents: O.C. and Louise Dalton; siblings: Velma Knox, Boyd Dalton, Roy Dalton, M.F. Dalton, Ruby Griffie, Audrey Spoon and Doyle Dalton.
Edith is survived by her brother: Max (Betty) Dalton; sister-in-law: Shirley Dalton and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Gentiva Hospice.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 12 noon until 2:00 pm at Stubblefield Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Lonnie Dalton and Rev. Dale Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery.
