Edyth J. Everhart, age 76 of Kingsport, formerly of Russellville went to be the Lord on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Wellmont-Holston Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Lee Everhart and Ruth Self, and a brother, Charles Everhart. Ms. Everhart was a member of Midfield Freewill Baptist Church, and retired from Mahle Corp.
Survivors include a son; Billy Everhart of Kingsport, and a daughter; Judy McNelly of Arizona. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Tanya Rhea, Tammy Price, Tasha Para, and John and Scott Rhea, and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Stubblefield Funeral Home on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6-8 PM, with funeral services to follow at 8PM in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. Adam Miller will officiate. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens at 9:45 AM Friday, July 6, 2012 for a 10:00 AM committal service.
