Estel “Dean” Hickey age 86, of Talbott went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2017. Dean was a veteran of the US Army and fought in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma June Waller Hickey.
Dean is survived by his sons, Jay and Jeffrey Hickey; daughter, Tina (Greg) Durham; stepchildren, Darlene (Doyle) Bell and Danny (Rhonda) Epps; grandchildren, Jodi (Taylor) Hackbarth and Scott (Julie) Durham; 5 great grandchildren; brother, James Hickey; sisters, Julia Mae Atkins, Dolly West and Polly Dalton.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service with Rev. Fred Lehrer officiating. A military graveside service will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
