He was a US Navy veteran and an electrician who proudly worked in the trade for more than 50 years. He also had a passion for restoring trucks and cars, taking great pride and enjoyment in bringing them back to life.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Louise Bohanan Branch; sister: Beatrice Garner and wife: Lorene Branch.
Eugene is survived by his sons: Stanley (Gwen) Branch and Adam Branch; grandson: Levi Branch. Brothers: Troy (Dawn) Branch, JB (Sally) Branch, Dennis Branch and Loyie Dale (Lisa) Branch; sister: Shirley Rayfield. Brother-in-law: Doc Garner and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Special companion: Sharon Stoffle; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Stubblefield Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Eddie Seals officiating.
Military graveside services will be on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 11:00 am in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
