Francis M. Cowans Greene, age 93 , of Tazewell, formerly of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Claiborne County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carson and Della Trent, sisters, Lydia Estridge, Nancy Vaughn, Mary Jean Mitchell, Brothers, Stockley and Johnny Trent.
She is survived by daughters, Stella Jo Rick, Marie Williams, Dolly Moore and Imogene Clark, who took care of her, 15 Grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Funeral services will held at 8 P.M. on Friday, August 27, 2010 in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. The Rev. Billy Ray Johnson and Rev. Fred Oliver will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Stubblefield prior to the service. Family and Friends will gather at 9:45 on Saturday, August 28, at Dalton Cemetery for a 10 a.m. graveside service.
