George Wisdom Large, age 83, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and retired from Enka/BASF. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Case Large; son, John Michael Large; parents, Ivel and Adnah Large; and brother, Gerald Large. Survivors include his daughter, Amy (Dwayne) Cook; grandchildren, Ashton and John Cook; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 31 from 1 – 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Gary Kelly will officiate. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
