

Gloria Jean (Walls) Yarbrough, 86, of Somerville, TN, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025. Born July 9, 1939, in Man, West Virginia, she was the 6th child of eight siblings whom she loved and admired her entire life.
Gloria is preceded in death by her beloved parents: Tennis (Bud) Walls and Juanita Adkins Walls; her 3 brothers: Darrell, William, and Donald Walls; her 4 sisters: Conda Gates, Nora Fryer, Wanda Gladden, and Leila Cochran; and her devoted husband of 40 years, Billy H.Yarbrough.
Gloria found joy in the hard work and the devotion required to create a beautiful and comfortable home for her husband, family and other visitors. To know her was to be accepted wholeheartedly, unconditionally, and without hesitation. Rarely was a conversation had with anyone that did not result in her making them laugh. Gloria’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those she lifted up, laughed with and loved through every season of her life.
Gloria leaves behind one daughter; Ginger Allen Weber and son-in-law, John Weber whom she resided with and who cared for her the last eleven years of her life. She also leaves behind several new friends she made during her nine month stay at Signature Lifestyles Assisted Living Community of Rogersville, TN.
Gloria’s family is especially grateful to the compassionate staff at Signature Lifestyles and the team at Caris Hospice for their kindness and exceptional care.
In honoring her wishes, Gloria will be cremated. Her ashes will rest in a double urn alongside her beloved husband, Billy. Both will be interred together at the Evergreen Cemetery in Williston, TN at a later time.
