Hattie Marie Carver, age 78, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. She was saved as a young girl at Big Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Carver; parents, Linnie and Jay Murphy; brother, Gale Murphy; and sister, Hertha McKinney. She is survived by the love of her life for over 60 years, her husband, Claude Carver; sister, Elda McGinnis of Mooresburg; brother-in-law, Bill Carver of Hawkins County; several nieces, nephews and special friends. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 graveside service. Rev. Robert White officiating. Special music by Matt and Ashley Hurley.
