She will be remembered for her warm loving nature and her deep faith in God. She served as a Deaconess at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in her home town of Morristown where she also taught Sabbath School. She had the ability to make anyone feel at home with her warm smile, and her homemade meals, snacks and cakes. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a highlight in her life, she never missed an opportunity to be with them. She loved gardening, traveling, and crocheting. Helen will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Helen joins in rest her husband of 54 years, James Stines; son Larry Stines; parents, Bonnie and Lonnie Dalton; brothers, Junior Freeman and George Washington Freeman; grandparents, Frank and Tennia Seals; and granddaughter, Susan Williams.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Cwilla (Ron) Kincaid, Pauletta (Harmon) Franklin, and Marlene (Ken) Williams; dear grandchildren, Rhonda (Richard) Mills, Dean (Andrea) Kincaid, Jamie (David) Baer, Larry Stines Jr, Ryan (Janna) Kincaid, Josh (Danielle) Franklin, Zach (Franklin), Aaron Williams, Karah (Ramon) Charles, and David (Bonnie) Williams; and fifteen cherished great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 2:30 p.m. graveside service.
