HILTON PAUL TRUXILLO, age 79 of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather. He was born in Thibodaux, LA on January 2, 1932. He was a United States Army veteran. He retired from Coca Cola Company after 15 years of service. He attended House of The Lord Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Whitney and Ada Gros Truxillo; sisters, Vada Truxillo Camper, Rita Truxillo Mitchell and Deloris Truxillo; brothers, Arnold Truxillo and Terry Truxillo. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Addie Mae Pounders Truxillo; son, Terry Paul Truxillo and wife Karen; daughters, Julie Ann Slover and husband Larry, Aretha Paige Blizzard and husband Gary and Lisa Diane Horner and husband Brian; grandchildren, Sharisa Agnew-Hernandez, Marcelina Logan, Ethan Truxillo, Abigail Truxillo, Larry Slover Jr, Jade Slover, John Ott, Elizabeth Blizzard and Cole Horner; great-grandchildren, Marissa Agnew, Olivia Agnew, Haleigh Hernandez, Amitra Logan, Alexis Logan, Chloe Ann Slover and Baby girl Slover; brothers, Harold Truxillo, Bobby Truxillo and Ray Truxillo; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with Pastor Gail Manning officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in Shannon Cemetery on Shannon’s Little Mountain Rd for a 1:00 p.m. Military Graveside service with VFW Post #5266 officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, Tennessee.
