Howard Samuel Fox

Howard Fox, age 78, of Russellville, went home to be with the Lord at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol, Tennessee while surrounded by his loved ones. He had been battling cancer for the last five months. Howard spent many years coaching little league ball teams and supporting his grandchildren in any activity they were involved in growing up. He was saved at an early age and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Pearl Fox; two sisters, Mary Charles Brewer and Patricia Cline; and three brothers, Jimmy, Gerald and Harold Lynn Fox.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Loretta Fox; daughter, Kim (Randy) Brewer; grandson, Brandon (Tori) Brewer; granddaughter, Lynzee (Tanner) Huff; five precious great-grandchildren who he loved very much; sister, Joyce Fox; special sister-in-law, Sarah Fox; and a special nephew, Pal Fox.

Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, December 23rd for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dwain Brewer and Rev. Ronald Bunch will officiate. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #5266 and TN National Guard.
