Howard H. Wolfe

Howard Wolfe, age 77, of Morristown, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 9, 2019 at Heritage Rehab. He was a member of Swan Creek Chapel. He was an employee of Porter Tire for 45 years. He was a Vietnam veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jep and Ethel Wolfe; brother, Harold Wolfe; infant brother, Glenn Wolfe; and brothers-in-law, Bill Templin and Clifton Minton. He is survived by his sisters, Joretta Templin and Jean Minton; sister-in-law, Inez Wolfe; nieces, Linda (Dean) Hunley, Kim (Calvin) Pennala; nephews, Gary (Teresa) Templin, Kevin (Angel) Minton, Lynn (Michelle) Wolfe, Wayne Wolfe; and several great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev Lynn Porter and Rev Roger Porter officiating. Immediately after services, the interment will be in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Military honors by VFW Post 5266 and TN National Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Regency Dementia/Alzheimer’s Unit, 739 E 2nd North Street, Morristown, TN 37814. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Regency Retirement Center Dementia/Alzheimer’s Unit and all his nurses. A very special thank you to Lynn and Kay Porter and all the Porter family.
